Trashposting is fun sometimes because actual discussions like this are so rare these days outside of generals that it doesn't even matter what goes on here anymore.
But pessimism aside, I agree that per thread IDs will improve a board's quality, but since the nature of 4chan has changed towards the anonymous identity, everyone will be against it.
In the end, it's up to our dear Hiroyuki to decide what he wants this place to be, and if his idea is that of anonymous, so be it.
