Thanks, I followed your instructions and finally got it working through youtube-dl + the windows version of ffmpeg. Now all I have to do is figure out how to adjust the resolution, bitrate and get rid of the audio so it doesn't chop sections of the stream and I don't end up with 3 minute 1gb videos. Thanks!

It keeps giving me a "system cannot find file specified" when I try to put options in the format given by the documentation.

$ youtube-dl -f 'bestvideo[height<=480]+bestaudio/best[height<=480]'
