it's kind of a long story, at the start Luna didn't open herself to anybody, she is a spoiled girl and a real loner, so she doesn't fit in groups, and when she was anxious Matsuri approached her and to Luna she seemed an experienced and reliable senpai, eventually Luna found out that Matsuri was another type of nut case but still loved her, then around september 2020 something happened, maybe Matsuri was fed up with clingy Luna and needed a break, and she didn't show up in Luna's birthday, and that killed FestivaLuna and not even a cover song could fix it, Matsuri declared in meme review that Luna was just a little sister, and Luna became a hermit again for 3-4 months, and sadly those times were Hololive's peak popularity and damaged her growth permanently, around december they made up and collabed again, but they were just friendly not as intimate as before, then remained the same until the minecraft collab in june 2021, shortly after in july 2021 Matsuri confirmed the rrat in holotalk, that they had a fight, and apparently Luna didn't like that because since then, Luna hasn't collab or spoke to Matsuri publicly to this day.
