in fact, Marisa has had a bit of character development. I mean, in the pc-98 games she was someone who only cared about herself, but in more recent games (and especially in the manga) we have seen how she cares for others now, she is kind and is the one who puts pressure on Reimu so that she gets down to work and put her feet on the ground. I think that she is one of the few characters that have had a development. The only one who surpasses her is Kosuzu.
