horror movie franchise for monster girls: "Man Lives Alone and doesn't particularly mind it."
featuring episodes such as
>Man living alone cleans his room (it's still a mess after he finishes, objects just change places, and some spots are left undusted because "no-one's gonna see them anyways").
>Man living alone cooks himself lunch (the same dish is undercooked on one half and overcooked on the other; the real horror is his closing line "At least it's better than last time" implying last time was somehow even worse)
>Man living alone goes to sleep without even thinking about cuddling or being cuddled by a loved one (released as the "valentine's day special")

all the mamono hate the series for being so scary and painful, but also love it because it awakens new resolve in them to not let their hubby end up like that. The hubby, of course, doesn't understand what the big deal is, nor why his wife suddenly starts to forbid him from grilling his sunday steaks for the whole family like he always used to.
Also, predictably, the franchise has many fanworks where the protagonist stops living alone and starts living with a mamono roommate. Many fans call them the only good thing to come out of the show's existence.
