Arc was always edgy and insane, but the nuance of it was different I feel. Perhaps I'm nitpicking but the interpretation of her insanity seems more mainstream this time around, a modern idea of chuu2 rather than the understated kind that was present in the original. If I were to sum it up in a simplistic manner, I feel like it's the difference between Arc and WArc. The latter indulged in their violent insanity whereas the former was always unsmilingly insane. NuArc seems like she has more of WArc in her so far. Compare the sprites of the original Tsukihime and everytime Arc has her mystic eyes coming on it's always like she's trying to suppress it. Her mystic eyes expressions were always that of a cornered, injured animal being forced to lash out rather than a battle maniac getting high on the heat of the battle; Arc was never a Blood Knight. Most of the time in battle she was just frowning or neutral.

Context is important of course and, as I said, I'm probably just nitpicking but the
"Grr I'm gonna get you >:)))" expression for NuArc isn't doing anything for me. It's not the kind of insanity I can take seriously, it's mainstream shit that's been overplayed to death.
