This game is weird. Regular throws are absurdly difficult to execute properly, and command throws have a big enough wind-up that they're almost impractical too. 2A mashing actually seems sorta strong in this game.

I'm used to something like Guilty Gear where you can do silly stuff like wake-up throw or air-throw people out of attacks. Eventually I'll get the timing for Doppel down and do a full grab chain, though; I can only get as far as the beat-your-face-into-the-pavement part.

I've been meaning to try it out again, but I've just been putting it off. I leveled a phys exo up to 29/30ish right when they released it with those incredibly horrid xp reqs. Now that xp requirements have reportedly gotten much better, I don't have much other reason to not play it.

Other than my laziness, that is.

Nah, the main problem is that the clerics are mostly lower level while the paladins are mostly higher level.

I just had some upgraded level 32 equips, and usually went through a process of get new equipment -> enchant -> toss the equipment and find a new item if the enchant wasn't +hp.
