This scene didn't quite make sense to me in the original vn and it still doesn't in the remake. I understand the concept of Shiki talking to his pre-accident self, but why did kid Shiki warned him about "if you wake up, you will be stuck in a comatose state where you can't even dream" thingy when it didn't mattered at all in the ending? Was it just a test of courage in order to see how far Shiki would go for Ciel? Or did he wanted him to stay dreaming just for his own selfishness so that he could see those unimaginable dreams for himself?
