Speaking of steamy
A regular well ventilated room has 1000 parts per million of CO2 compared to outside air which is about 300-400 ppm and up to 500 ppm in urban environments. It is well researched that the amount of CO2 in air affects our cognitive functions and at around 1000 ppm, you lose about 15% of your cognitive function and at about 2000 ppm you lose more plus you can begin experiencing side effects like nausea, sleepiness, lost of concentration, headaches, etc. An average closed bedroom or car can have up to 4000 ppm as well as most classrooms depending on how much students are there.
Guess getting a breathe of fresh air really helps.
