That and I also left out that there aren't that much tricks to begin with. All games have the typical somebody faked his/her death, "locked rooms" that can be solved with the same 4 or 5 methods, etc. At first the mystery genre seems like it has infinite possibilities....or maybe I should say it really has but most of those possibilities are over-used and cliched.
