I probably should've put a separate section on this in the pdf but I think the simulation works off of the perception of the pieces on the game board rather than on some sort of "absolute truth" (prophecies/red truth are absolute but everything else is filled in with perception) which is why in Umineko lies that people agree on are written as the truth and why at the end of Tataridamashi we see the K1 bat scenes as Satoko described it to Ooishi rather than how the scene really played out. If Rika can create a situation where nobody (not even herself) can perceive her existence she can be in a superposition of dead and alive and escape the logic error.
