In Japan, catching a cold can destroy your inferior Asian immune system, and you might have to miss a day of work. Not a big deal in the West, but in Nippon that means your yamato-damashii is fractured and you may have to commit sudoku.

Reminder that you wouldn't have these problems if your country saw colds and the flu as real problems instead of something that can safely be ignored.

Why does Japan have the highest life expectancy rate?
