In Japan, catching a cold can destroy your inferior Asian immune system, and you might have to miss a day of work. Not a big deal in the West, but in Nippon that means your yamato-damashii is fractured and you may have to commit sudoku.

Reminder that you wouldn't have these problems if your country saw colds and the flu as real problems instead of something that can safely be ignored.

Why does Japan have the highest life expectancy rate?

>eat fish instead of cows, chickens, pigs, etc. which reduces the risk of heart disease
>walk instead of drive which is good exercise and reduces the risk of car accidents
>wear masks to protect other people from getting sick
>barely any guns

What else?

>start to watch the video
>see white masks... white masks everywhere
>Close video

This is one aspect of asian culture that I find intolerable. An irrational fear of the common cold.

>RIKA and Kimiko are typical Japanese schoolgirls.

>They have blue sailor-suit uniforms, spangly mobile phones and several designer shopping bags. But one thing stands out: the cotton medical masks that cover their mouths and noses every waking hour.

Honestly why is this an issue, its just a freedom of expression just like putting on a hat
