it was never going to go anywhere, the management is still as incompetent and stingy with money as ever. They took their great luck with idolbu as granted and believed they have brand power, so they didn't even bother with an audition and picked 3 people from somewhere, tell them to roleplay as something, saved money with designs by letting Mememe do it instead of finding a famed artist, gave them a 3D model and expected new viewers would just come rushing in. That's their idea of vtubers and how light they saw the industry. They thought they wouldn't need to put any more effort and money than that as it worked with idolbu even though the fans had been teetering at the edge of the line with how much they could put up with the management the whole time and they simply failed to notice.

Well, it clearly didn't work and now they are just scavenging what their remaining girls could produce for them, while continuing to do the bare minimum and maintaining their unwillingness to invest their money on anything. They won't obtain rights for cover songs, girls can't play anything new because their specs are as shit as ever (Mememe literally can't stream Raft or Apex properly in low quality unless she's a still frame), girls still can't move their hands, horse still doesn't know how to stream, management still doing bare minimum for collab goods (just looking at the lack of effort they put for vtuber chips vol3 pisses me off, a rare opportunity to promote your girls to people outside the group, and they fucking blew it.)
I really want them to switch to 2D so they can actually afford to have new costumes that isn't just a 2P color change
