Even if this schizo theory was true Nasu wouldn't simply let some other writer take a huge dump on the tone of the climax of the route if he hadn't personally approved it.
No matter how shit the scene is there is no way you can simply sneak in a multi-hour fight scene where Kaiju Arc almost destroys the entire world without Nasu realizing how much the tone would change.
It was only added to the game because Nasu wanted it.
