Misha has a genetic deformity that caused her heart to be weak, which resulted in poor blood supply to her auditory senses as they were being developed in utero. Thus she has mild hearing loss and a ticking cardiac time bomb. She accepted her condition and decided to enjoy her life as much as possible since she doesn't know how much time she has left, thus she forces herself to be the genki girl.

Alternative idea:
Her poor circulation resulted in a stroke at some point, which caused brain damage in her auditory lobe.

Every possible disability can be applied to having a weak heart. I'm only mentioning the deafness because someone spoke about it earlier.

Let's make this thread into something useful.

Lilly clearly has unresolved family issues which will surface in her route. While we don't have much to go on thus far, I predict that her family will be rife with the "working too hard" problem, distancing them from each other almost to the point of being separate, individual entities with solid careers and a cold, disconnected family tree. Lilly's own lax behavior regarding her authority and her motherly attentions toward Hanako are reflections of these deeper problems.

Hisao fixes everything by taking the whole gang out for ice cream.
