The problem with a lot of the Gou/Sotsu theories is that people thought R07 was handling the script directly, or at least controlling it word by word, so everything odd was taken to have a meaning. In the end, the series was much looser than that with stuff like Rena's repeated stabbing of Keiichi just Passione's idea for the scene without being part of R07's basic premise/plot.

I'm curious to see the 2nd Hoshiwatashi chapter to see if we get Sakiko/Satoko interaction there though. She called Satoko by ka-san in Hoshi, while oka-san in Oni, but she was actually talking with Satoko in Oni, so the difference could be due to that. But if she talks with Satoko and just calls her Ka-san again in Hoshi, it'd show this is just a loose script again (which means stuff like people concluding Satoshi might not have returned due to how some stuff was worded might be wrong if the wording doesn't actually matter).
