Why archive old photos? I stopped saving pictures to my hard drive years ago because the constant stream of new stuff on SNS is infinitely better, never ending and constantly fresh. Plus it's so plentiful I never found the need to flip though old photos to keep from getting bored.

Remember dollbooru? Despite its flaws and lack of participation it was still an archive and wasn't very good at it. Most people didn't even notice it was gone. Remember nijura? the 2chan archive? Again, no point. There's so much fresh content most people forgot about archives.
