By the way, that reminds me, let's extend this thread to also include ZUN songs not in the games! He's actually produced so many more songs, but nearly all of them are unknown even to most Touhou fans other than maybe Innocent Treasure. What are some of your favorites?

Frankly I liked it more than the original. SoEW was the first danmaku Touhou game and it shows. This remake implemented modern features and took it easy. After all, judging by gameplay advice for Touhou, it isn't Touhou if you can't "hold shift for focused movement".

Also, what music was replaced? I don't recall any replacement...

I think swimsuits are like his fetish, after that the whole electronic flute thing is just his instrument and it's quite fitting for Touhou on the whole.

I must admit, aside from some of the cheesier videos I love the attention to detail WINN shows in his animations, the kind of things you'll only notice if you've played through the boss fights he references. Things like the Malice Cannon and spell card details and movements to defeat them (Reimu moving backwards and forwards against Parsee's trick card).

The swimsuits are extra.
