If you're a socially inept person in the U.S or Europe then you're going to be a socially inept person in Japan too, but Japanese culture is already so introverted that you will have even less of a chance at integrating into society.

How do these foreign weeaboos think they're going to make it when they can barely even make friends back here? Japanese socialization is so clique based that if you didn't grow up there and you didn't already have a network of connections from your childhood, school, and work then even getting people to talk to you will be very difficult. People aren't as open and sociable over there as they are over here.

The end result is that if any of us moves to Japan then we will just be isolated and alone in some apartment, living a lifestyle that's virtually identical to the one we have now but the only difference is that your prison/apartment is now on the other side of the planet.

The thing I dislike about mania is how fast it leaves you and how quickly your opinions can change. It really fucks with your head.

Having my state of mind jump from such extremes in less than 5 minutes is incredibly unnerving.

Will warfare ever get back to the point where people are at least slightly close to each other during the battle?

Warfare today is like shooting at ants that are a mile away. Both groups are so far away that you can barely see them with a scope and it's impossible to see them without a scope or binocular. Most of the time you just sit behind something hard, occasionally pop out to shoot at the air, and then sit back down.

I was watching a documentary and it was showing footage with a battle between the British Army/Afghan army and the Taliban group they were fighting and either side couldn't see each other since they were both so far away. It got to the point where they actually ran out of ammo since they were just shooting randomly in the direction of where the bullets were coming from. Hell, half of the Afghan troops were just sitting behind some rubble, smoking opium, and laughing during the entire fight.
