Every Servant is from a shooter or is a famous gun expert, however they must also fit the class they were summoned into. As a result, there is a new Personal Skill: Archery.

Fate, UBW or HF?

I've been thinking about this forever. A game for Fate/Stay night. This isn't a rpg or a mmo. But a real time strategy game. Like you and 6 other guys enter a "round". The goal of course is to get the Holy Grail. Everyone gets a random servant from any class. You can pick between two "classes" the tech guy who uses guns, or the magician. You can't use magic if you use guns and vice versa. So you play this game and it runs in real time. You get a sandbox city can do whatever you want. Of course if you start killing everyone you'll get punished for it. But you can set up strongholds or whatever you want. There's no pause in a round so once you start playing you keep playing till you die or win. The game keeps running so even when you sleep your character in game will still be there just standing around. So you would have to watch out and try to get other people when they're sleeping or with strategy.

What do you think /jp/?

Would you still play F/SN if it was really repetitive, was way too long for its story, had a mediocre story, had shit pacing, had long and boring explanations about how the world worked, had horrible heroines, and some of the worst eroge in the medium?

Ok /jp/, since you're so gay for Mind of Steel, let's try and reason about it and have a nice, pacific discussion.

First of all, where do Shirou's ideals come from ?
We know from the VN that Shirou wishes to follow his foster father's, Kitsurugi's, wish to be an hero capable of saving everyone.
We also know Kitsurugi was one hell of an hypocrite considering he was such a bastard during the previous war, even Kotomine got gay for him.
We also know one of Shirou's hidden reasons for being an hero is guilty feelings because he can't forgive himself for surviving alone when all those around him died. But let's not misunderstand, he's still really fashinated by these ideas, though at a child level.
So what's the your opinion on this ? Does he really wish to be an hero like he claims, or he's just a broken mind who has to "repent" to avoid being crushed by his past ?

Just finished the Fate route of this shit. It was fucking awesome. Being a major mythology buff, it was great discovering OH MY GOD GOLDEN SWORD OF PROMISED VICTORY JESUS CHRIST and KING OF HEROES I'M SO FUCKED.

Just felt like sharing that with you all.

Now, then... since the big movie studios are making new movies about Dragon Ballz, Neon Genesis and many others, why not discuss about /jp/'s own favorite, Fate Stay Night?

I think that FSN would be ideal for the movie version. Its plot is compact enough, because leaving out themes wouldn't break the entirety as it did in Tsukihime anime. Moreover, people should be quite familiar with this, since it remotely resembles Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And the characters are mainly of European origin, so it wouldn't suffer from the same kind of awkwardness as NG would.
