Beato had stated in red that "Ushiromiya Battler is not the son of Ushiromiya Asumu", so Ange makes a request for Beato to declare "Ushiromiya Battler is not Ushiromiya Kinzo's grandson"

With blue text, Ange shows that he is still Ushiromiya Kinzo's grandson as long as he is Rudolf's son. Now with that out of the way, Battler starts to question his identity.

Ange replies,"Even if Asumu didn't give birth to you, she's still a mother to you, right? Nothing changes. For example, what is Ushiromiya Ange to you? Even though you might not be related by blood, she's still your sister! Not by blood, but by relationship!" In red text, Battler agrees and says that Anje is his sister.
Anje hugs her brother from behind. Lambda comments how Battler's spirit is returning, but Bern says how it's still lacking.

Battler says how he's had enough of witches, of Beato, of everyone, enough of "Gretel", who he thinks must be the witch's friend. He doesn't know when she'll betray him, not trusting anything that isn't in red words. As he screams, Ange strongly hugs his head from behind.
