I remember the Pekora thread at the time had a lot of people feeling similarly. I think Marine's Rimworld was the stream I tried to watch and I had to close it after a while and I also remember thinking I might be able to use an extended break to catch up on old archives but I obviously didn't end up doing that. Then again I still haven't gotten around to 99% of what I want to watch so maybe a normal break wouldn't have helped either. As for bottling things up, pretty much, though I get why people do it and I do it myself. I feel like she's been better about it this year but my Japanese definitely wasn't good enough last year to make comparisons myself and it's always hard to tell when it's happening.
