Chihaya actually feigns ignorance when it comes to technology. She's actually a hardcore gamer and tech enthusiast. Why does she hide it then? She believes in the outdated notion that those kinds of things are for "nerds" only, and people like that are undesirable. Chihaya wishes to be desirable and will go through extreme lengths to be so. Chihaya is also a compulsive liar and will lie for just about anything. If you ask her if she knows how to use a computer, she'll say "no". If you ask her about the sex, she'll say it's "good". If you ask her if she thinks she's amazing at singing, she'll say "yes".

Chihaya also suffers from self esteem issues. Please be patient with Chihaya.
