I'm currently reading through Umineko and holy shit, it'sreally good, thanks to the anons who told me to read it
I'm currently at the end of episode 4 and i think i may have a solid theory about who Beatrice really is
Then again maybe i should just go back to reading it

If that were the case, Battlers reaction upon learning the truth should have been way more conflicted than nodding to himself while smiling benevolently, don't you think? Battler doesn't just forgive Beatrice because of her tragic past, he seems to see her as totally blameless from that point on.
