It's chemical, so no.
As someone with sleep paralysis, it always wears off.
Sleep paralysis sucks for me though, because when I wake up, all my voluntary muscles don't work for like two minutes, and when I wake up I'm always trying to breathe manually, so I'm stuck with the sensation of being completely immobile and unable to breathe until it wears off.
