I wish it would hurry up and snow here. Normally we're frozen solid from October to March, but here it is nearly December and we've had nothing. My dolls are dressed up to play in the snow the moment it gets here, though. The wait is a killer.

don't worry too much anon. while i've personally accepted that stains are part of the doll experience for me personally, most outfits have never given me any issues. avoid dark/saturated colors and black and you won't have much to worry about -- the pastel aesthetic is practical as well as cute. and if something really does stain, the good thing with obitsu/dd bodies is that you can replace damn near all of them. treat yourself!

this girl of mine is suffering a case of blue arms, but she's on an old body i'm planning to replace anyway, so now i just use it to test for clothing stains in advance. it's all worked out so far.

(as to your question, i wouldn't say either one is more or less likely to stain in my experience-- someone else may have more practical evidence on that front though.

It was so windy it kept threatening to blow her and the stand clean over, so unfortunately I didn't get to do everything I would have liked, but I'm just glad I got some snow at all this late into the season. I had fun.

I know. Only time I've been burned on a mandarake order, that body came with undisclosed stains and a cracked spine. This girl's first on the list for a new body, that's for sure, but she's so pretty that I forget the stains are even there.
