How has japanese perception of western fans changed over the years? Yes most of them still don't give a shit, but back in the day it was probably big whiplash for nip creators to discover they had even a little presence in the west.
Nowadays, aside from big names, I feel they want less and less to do with the wider internet, and understandably so.
