-The Winter 2023 Event is scheduled to start in late February.
-The Setsubun 2023 Festival is underway. It comes with 5 Setsubun quests which reward beans. 1 daily, 2 weekly, 1 monthly, and a one time quest. The grand prize is the T4 Hiryuu (Skilled).
-A new map has been implemented in World 7: 7-5. This map has 3 phases and rewards a medal and 170 ranking points. A(B)DA cruisers drop from this map as well as Shinshuu Maru.
-Fletcher-class USS Heywood L. Edwards (DD-663) will be implemented sometime in 2023.
-There is 1 new permanent quests available.
-It is now possible to improve the T2 DC Kai-II through Akashi's arsenal. It is now possible to upgrade the T0 Recon Seaplane into T0 Observation seaplane.
-The December ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the Type 1 Fighter Hayabusa Model II (20th Squadron).
-New and returning Setsubun seasonal CGs and voice lines have been implemented. New furniture has been implemented. The maximum number of ship/equipment slots has been increased to 570/2460.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy
