I'd say that's an incredibly adult thing, because they read what they enjoy without caring about the opinions or onlook of others. They are true to themselves.
Being embarrassed would be a childish thing in my opinion.
Anno's self depreciating views and opinions like these are the real problem. No Anno, YOU are the issue here.
