Don't listen to him. Umineko manages to keep an ongoing plot throughout it's 8 episodes and keeps on the tention. while higurashi resets each episode (save for some small changes). this makes the first half of every higurashi episode kind of boring since tention drops in the end of each episode (each EP climaxes fantastically still). and no ciconia isn't finished yet only the first part (out of 4) is out and the next one has been delayed due to covid
