My dumb episode 4 theory is that everybody was unironically drugged and finished off by Yasu. Kinzo probably did hard drugs or classic early 00s drugs like opium for his rituals so you can't say to me that "lol invalid substance". Yasu probably told Natsuhi some bullshit about how Kinzo wanted to put special sauces and spices (drugs) if Battler ever did come back to the island, so Natsuhi told Kumasawa and Gohda to put them on the food. The first twilight began and soon both of them saw what their actions lead to. They later both committed suicide. Yasu later hanged their bodies in the storehouse as a symbolic gesture (The side story in Tsubasa were Kanon gets angry about Gohda not believing about the Beatrice incident in the storehouse).
