Honestly, it makes you wonder if Genji was suicidal himself or something. He can't have done all that shit without realising this was going to bite him in the ass at some point. I can sort of forgive Nanjo for it since he actually seems to have thought he did the morally right thing, but Genji knew his friend raped his own daughter and yet decided to bring the child of that rape back, and depending on your interpretation, chose to raise that child as a girl despite it being much better for that child's welfare if they went with the 'disfigured boy' angle. And then, by some amazing luck, that child not only didn't realise their true gender, but his friend died before he got the chance to start making moves on his child/grandchild, only for him to decide 'oh, now's the perfect time to pull some more trauma on them, and then tell them about the bombs that can blow us up!'.
What the fuck is wrong with this man?
