I mean I guess I'll ask my question about Mahoyo again. Is there anything to Aoko being raised in the mountains that relates to Souji? Thematically I think it's that the Aoko can always go home anytime she wants and can see the sky that she's nostaglic about yet Souji can't. That said the sky he sees at the end can come close to the one that he is always yearning for as new memories replace his old ones. I do wish Souji said that Aoko was a new star for him that can show him the way to his new future.
