sounds good, it seems like a much better alternative than playing the VN again in anticipation of the ep 6 translation

So, most of you should have finished it by now, so how would you rate it?

8/10 for me.

For the good point, it had the best soundtrack in the series.
Also good pacing, unlike episode 4 I didn't felt bored half of the time.
The focus on Natsuhi was good and some of the new characters like Dlanor were great.

The ???? was also awesome and really made you want to play episode 6.

For the bad points I found it a little thin, I expected it to deliver more on every fronts.
Erika also felt kinda forced but I guess it's kinda the point.
It also felt like too much noise but not enough content was introduced, though I guess we will have to see the following episodes to really judge it.

Anyways not at the level of episode 3 but good episode.

The fifth rule stated in Knox's Decalogue was:

5. No Chinaman must figure in the story.

Knox was not referring to "a person from China", but instead referring to a strange or mysterious character, exotic in nature and unknown in origin, whose abilities are unknown due to their sheer foreign nature.

A good example of such a character is The Medecine Seller from Mononoke, though Mononoke is not a classic mystery so to speak, and he is the main character.

The Medecine Seller appears to the rest of (that story arc's) cast, revealing nothing of himself. His character is absolutely obscured.
Who is he? What is he doing here? What can he do? What is his intent?
For The Medecine Seller, none of these questions are answered. This would make him "A Chinaman" by Knox's interpretation. But thats alright. He is better as a chinaman.

Unless you haven't quite been able to grasp my point, there is a certain Umineko no naku koro ni Chiru character which fits the criteria of "The Chinaman".

Ironic, isn't it? What a two-facing witch. She reads out point after point from the Decalogue, forgetting the one which she broke.
