I'm going to ask you guys once and for all, is Katawa Shoujo ok in this board or not? It's not made in japan, but it is a VN. The amount of anal pain every time there's a thread on /v/ is rediculous.

Think of it this way: Act 1v2 came out on December 13, 2009, and it essentially means that the devs were done polishing that part of the game (fixing grammar & spelling issues, UI problems, etc.). Act 2's writing for Emi, Hanako, and Lilly's Act 2 was essentially complete on March 20, 2010, or three months after Act 1 was completed. If we give them 3-4 months per-act, that means the final product could potentially be released between October of this year and March of next year. Personally, I'm hoping for a release around Christmas.

Then again, we don't have any idea how long each of the acts are relative to one another, and we have to consider the fact that Rin's Act 2, for example, might be twice as long as Hanako's. Also, we have to remember that the process of writing isn't so cut-and-dry, so we're fucked if somebody gets writer's block or decides to throw out large sections of work for re-write. Since none of these people are being paid to do this, we also have to consider the possibility that REAL LIFE could throw a wrench into their plans.
