At least the music was good, and I liked the character designs. Yes, I like R07's art in Umineko, it has charm, even if it's really bad from a technical standpoint. I hated his Higurashi designs though.

If only the story hadn't turned out to be some kind of psychological therapy session for Ange/all being in Tohya's head... If the story had just focused on Rokkenjima in 1986 as it was, it'd have been so much better. I seriously don't really care about the whole Yasu thing, I think Ange and Tohya/Ikuko/Featherine was waaaaay worse.

Beatrice and Lion don't look alike though. Beato looks like the woman in the portrait. She's "fantasy" after all.

ShKanon is probably more close to Lion as far the resemblance go, but Yasu has a defective body and she probably use make-up.
