You may have misunderstood me. I'd say it's more like a guardian or heroic sort of thing, being able to protect and nurture what you love, not necessarily giving into people's wishes. I can't stand taking orders or giving into them either.

Remember that this is AYA drawing conclusions. It could just be that Momiji takes her guard duty seriously, and gets irritated when Aya tries to goad her into shenanigans. Aya has no concept of 'responsibility,' so she assumes Momiji is short with her because of a dislike of crow tengu. Like a diligent younger sister and carefree older sister.
