You know, it's sad, really. It feels like a catch-22.
Either the DEV_IS branch was created so that they can do different things (most likely read as: collab with males) or it was completely pointless to put them all in their own branch to begin with and they should have just been gen 7.
I still don't really understand the point of DEV_IS, and my fear is that their entire branch was created so that they could do things that wouldn't appeal to most of us or other Hololive/idol fans, so I've been hesitant to get invested in them from the start.
