I've been reading Kawakami's works for more than 10 years and wht I can tell you is one thing.

These LN's are not for everyone.

Now why I say that? because you need to have taste and not stupid to read these titles, the entire world created by Kawakami has perfect execution on these departments:

>Character development
>World construction
>Battles
>Amazing story
>Massive amount of information
>Long journey and satisfactory endings for previous works

Horizon is certainly the peak of his ability as an author and is literally a masterpiece, is the best you can find out there among all the LN's you can find and that's the reason why is not for everyone, the average LN reader is a mindless retard that usually read your random LN focused on a shitty MC and cliche story. Think about Kawakami's titles as the best meat you can ever eat, everything else is just Mcdonalds trash.

Now Is not 100% perfect because the perfect LN doesn't exist, but the amount of issues is so small that you won't even find them. Maybe on OnC because Kawakami was getting some pressure from the editor to not overextend too much on his work, meanwhile on Horizon he was 100% free to do what he wanted. CITY is another great title that you have to read, and Hexennacht is the first experiment of Kawakami on making something close to a magical girls type of stuff.

If you really have the balls and the intellect to read this, go and pick OnC, then read Horizon, move to Hexennacht then CITY. In that order is the best way to understand everything.
