It would be a rather simple affair.
But proposing for marriage is something that you can't really plan out, can you? It's more like a drive to want something so badly that you'd be willing to share your life, something you only get once, with it. That's an extremely powerful feeling and desire and something that I don't think can be planned ahead.

But in any case, I would ask for a walk through Hakugyokurou with her (Assuming I can find a time where she isn't busy attending to the garden or her mistress, easier said than done.) Then we would talk amongst each other quietly, about simple things like the way the wind blows or how the garden is coming along. After a while, the conversation would slow and the only thing that could be heard would be the soft footfalls of our feet.

After some time we could stop under a tree or by a similar formation in the garden or outside the residence. She could inquire as to why I would come to Hakugyokurou every so often, was it to see her? Yuyuko? It's not impossible to enter, but uncommon for people who aren't dead, as the legends alone would drive away most people.

Then again, I kind truly reply that no legend or story can keep me away from the object of my love. And then I would confess, present a ring or similar item (I don't think the marriage customs in Genskoyo have ever been outlined)

It's not very romantic, but I've come to terms with my love a long time ago, and the greatest treasure of all is not the act, but the solution.
