I just read the scene with Irie eating lunch with Takano in Matsuribayashi-hen.

It's weird. I always felt sorry for her hellish childhood, but I never actually cared about her as a character. Her whole talk with Irie, sharing her past with him, reminiscing about the flags on kid's meals, it all made her feel more human, in a way.

I think I actually like her now.
