Tengu tech is all over the place. They are using gazettes of all things as the main source of news circulation. White wolves are equipped with swords and shields. Aya's camera is certainly analogue, but how does she charges the capacitor for flash? Batteries? Some unholy dynamo with manual lever (would explain why she needs to slow down in shooting games to charge faster, she is focusing on pulling the lever)? And then you have Hatate with a flip phone, something that started to lose traction in Japan around 2010 I think? She also has a computer that can probably play HRtP with no emulators.
As to muskets in particular, they indeed look cool, but why would you use them when danmaku exists for fighting? Hunting?
