My analysis of the situation:

This thread is not significantly different from the rest of the image dump threads yet it caused a lot of unexplained anger.
My explanation for this is that it is probably due to the fact that OP was stalked in a different thread and was found to browse /bant/. I was actually surprised how someone caught him, as I never browsed /bant/ and didn't even know it had its own archive site, so this also points to the fact that the guy who stalked him also browses /bant/ or is at least familiar with it.
The OP of this thread seemed like just another 2hu thread and I wouldn't have recognized the guy if the first post didn't mention /bant/.

My opinion on this case? overall this is another case of /jp/ not being able to handle the idea of people being able to use more than one board. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for crossboarder behavior but there is nothing wrong with using more than one board as long as you adhere to board etiquette and rules. You shouldn't be able to tell assimilated crossboarders apart from regular users anyway (unless you're a crossboarder yourself and you recognize images or phrases they posted elsewhere).
