When you that Saxman the thing about Text Adventures in terms of coding are easy. When it comes to story, and choices is that they are only as easy/simple as you want them.

I mean if you're going with one-story, one ending with a few variations, and multiple choice then yeah text adventures are going to be easy to produce, and bullshit is slid under the radar.

But if you want to make it a good text-adventure, and have players come back for more to fully beat the game. It's going to take a lore more time, energy to come up with routes, choices, how the game/characters reacts to the choices, and etc.

This Touhou text adventure I have begun officially has: 52 endings
6 = Bad (2 pop up in every route)
8 = Average (Which are easy to acquire because it's based on this long ass choice after choice list I made to screw with people.)
1 Main Story (Which is hard to get as the two endings that pop in every route are higher to acquire)
And the last 37 of the others are just ship endings which is hard to get depending on the 2hu, how good you are in with that 2hu, and how's that route story mode is going. in terms of plot. This is going to take a long time.
