I see what you mean and this is true to a large extent but i think you are leaning a little too much towards the ''nothing makes any sense, these bitches are lying and everything is contradictory believe whatever you want''. Dont get me wrong, ZUN can be a drunken asshole that forgets his own lore or characters can lie for their own benefit. Given all of this you can have your own interpretation of things. But there are things in the story that are defined and not contradicted or ambiguous.
ZUN making statements that aren't contradicted or changed and multiple characters outright saying the same or similar things about a given subject. They have no reason to lie and aren't lying. Despite this people still completely ignore or misunderstand sources they don't like. This is especially true for powershitter stuff. Some people love to point out weaknesses the main cast have or bad moments where they appear or are weak. They cite moments where this happens and act as if its law. Then when you cite the character's actual strength or moments where they weren't weak suddenly the story is subjective and contradictory and that example that was given somehow means nothing. It's like the opposite of powershitters. Instead of blowing the powerlevels out of proportion they do the opposite and portray the cast as being laughably weak. It gets really delusional.

See what i said above. In addition Hecatia is the strongest character in the setting. Wouldn't make much sense for her to be stronger than an allegedly omnipotent being who would also be in the setting. I say allegedly because how can you be omnipotent if you need mortal servants to carry out your work for you or if you need to rest after creating ONE planet over the course of multiple days. Lets not even get started on the iron chariot thing. To make this weird crossover of religions work you'd need to refrain from wanking Christianity which in itself would be heretical.
