I would say EP4 has one of the worser scenes in Umineko - Kasumi taking fucking ages sperging out about Maria's diary and her own family woes, which was so uninteresting I swear they put EVA-Beatrice in there simply so people would pay more attention to it - but most people don't even really seem to care about that scene specifically, instead just complaining about Ange's section in general. I get the St Lucia bits since they felt a little too long to be fair, but the driving around in 1998 with Amakusa and finding out more about the future was pretty interesting honestly. I suppose it's a good thing for readers to be attached enough to the characters on Rokkenjima that they don't want to leave them for long, though.
