Maybe. If you do it in uniform motions, and don't jump around from place to place. Start at the base, and work your way up to the tip, making sure to get all the loose fur. And use the anubis butter, but not too much! Spread and warm it in your hands first, then evenly apply it across the whole tail with your fingers. Oh, and don't squeeze too tight, either. When you brush, rinse it under the warm water every five strokes so the fur doesn't stick with the oil, and make sure you pick out all the pieces which the water doesn't get. Otherwise there'll be lumps of fur. Don't brush too fast, and don't push too hard either. Just use your other hand to cradle it, but make sure you don't mess up the fur like that! Hold the tail so you don't push against the grain. And don't forget, when you get to the tip of the tail, brush in spiralling motions, because it feels nice. But don't angle it too much. Just slightly curve around the tip. If you find any knots, untangle them by hand or use the scissors, and don't disturb too much of the fur around it. If you must snip any fur, cut as few strands as possible to get rid of the tangle. Once you're done brushing, use the silk wipe to absorb any excess butter, which there shouldn't be, by wrapping it around the tail, taking care to avoid rubbing against any of the fur or putting any creases in the wipe. Then delicately pat down the whole tail through the silk with your hands, making sure that every millimetre of the fabric clings to the tail. After that, slowly remove the wipe like a sleeve, pulling it up and over the tail. And most importantly of all: Be gentle and nice.

Do all that, and then you might be allowed to brush the fluffy tail.
