I'm curious about how big this whole thing really is in Japan. On the net at least it's pretty damn big. 100k+ followers with 1k+ likes and RT for normal tweets are no joke. On youtube the most popular one get 100k+ views per video, despite most them posts several vids per weeks. I took a look at some other popular twitters and channels like artist, games and VAs, only the most popular one would beat them in term of popularity. And this stuff has only been happening for like 4 months, it's just ridiculous. I mean Mito got 8k likes and 3k RTs for yelling at Shiro show for god sake.

I always feel weird that lots of people in this thread still seem to think that this shit is small. But I'm following some other new franchises atm, franchises that pushed by huge companies with lots of money pouring into it. I can't help but feel that their popularity are pale compared to popular Vtubers, with much smaller investment. And you wonder why there are more and more companies trying to get a part of this cake
