There was little in Hana’s mind that made her doubt her actions, at least that’s what she told herself. Yukari wasn’t the monster that everyone made her out to be, she wasn’t the monster that Hana thought her to be either; she knew that now that she talked with her. She was just a little sick in the head was all, she was a little unstable and even though she hurt Hana and her father her intentions were for the best!

Yukari was unlike her mother, who’s thoughts ended and began in bottom of a sake bottle. Yukari wanted to help Hana, help her father too. If the rumors were right, then even her mother was back on her feet; even if Hana knew better than to trust her mother’s short-term rehabilitations it was good news. In Hana’s mind, there was only one woman that had the capability and patience to do so. Honestly, even getting down on her hands and knees to thank her for her love might not be enough.

It was why that now that Hana knew the truth of the matter, she would have to return the favor. Though how eluded her, this kind of thing was the domain of her father. He always knew how to help others and make people smile, though she’d have to be careful in asking her father about it. She didn’t want… want THAT to happen again where she forced herself on him and see him die inside. She didn’t know why exactly Yukari made them do those mean things, but surely, she must have had a good reason. It was Yukari after all.

Hana hadn’t yet figured out a plan by the time she returned home a bit after lunch time, her morning patrol was done and she spent the busy lunch hours distributing the talismans and other trinkets on behalf of Mima. It took a little doing, but once people accepted that Mima had been a god related to the Hakurei god and resided in the Hokora the talismans were easily sold off along with the more traditional Hakurei ones.

At least the money was mostly hers to keep, Hana didn’t know what the future was to hold, so she’d been squirrelling away as much money as she could into a form of nest egg. Hana knew that there seemed to be many dissatisfied with Yukari’s actions, blind they were, but remembering how Aunn briefly mentioned at some point about how Okina had a bet with Yukari of some kind. It was clear the secret god was moving against Yukari, Hana decided that she wouldn’t take any chances.

Okina was one of the figures mother told her well about given her status as a sage and how much of an ‘annoying lolicon lech’ she was. Though the books her father helped her study with to research the recorded legends of the sages and others didn’t help much. Hana was never the kind to study much and she often simply fell asleep in her father’s arms while he read those old stories to her.
