Exet's games are basically a parallel universe of KC's MGE world. They are meant to follow the rules and history of KC's world as they were known at the time of them being made, but KC isn't constrained by what takes place in them (i.e. if contradictions with the games turn up later then they are accounted for by the games being an alternate universe). Same goes for characters only found in the games that are likely to never appear in the canon KC works.

Yup, its been available for months. It also gives us an interesting look at how corruption works in this setting, with most of the "corruption language" being limited to sex scenes, with the couple actually acting fairly normal and vanilla when they are not having sex.
